For our location in Tübingen, we are looking for our department of Research and Basic Technologies for a

Data Analyst (Digital Products) (m/f/d)


Your Responsibilities


  • Structure, analyse and visualise medical device data
  • Develop and apply new data structures for processing and archiving project data and clinical data
  • Develop data visualisation dashboards (e.g. web applications or Power BI reports) based on Azure data cloud and Azure services
  • Design and implement data analyses from various sources in a medical context
  • Set up and run IT infrastructure in the lab to simulate the most common networks in operating theatres
  • Coordinate projects with hospital IT departments for data integration of Erbe products 
  • Conduct research on internationally relevant clinical IT systems and applicable standards and guidelines 



Your Skills


  • Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics or a comparable science or engineering discipline with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of in-depth experience as a data analyst with knowledge of the healthcare sector 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, C++/C# or R
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Understanding of healthcare data standards such as HL7 and DICOM and ideally regulations such as GDPR, MDR and FDA
  • Knowledge of the requirements and structure of modern, security-critical IT networks 
  • Experience in cloud environments such as MS Azure, AWS, etc.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis (statistics, AI/ML) and relational databases, such as in the use of data warehouses
  • Ideally, prior knowledge of clinically used IT systems such as HIS and PACS as well as eCRF/EDC
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
